What Winter/Holiday Book Should We Read in December?

We have so many great choices for this month’s vote along with a fascinating mix of authors coming from 6 different countries: Australia, Denmark, Turkey, Italy, Ukraine, & Sweden!

And thanks to some of our wonderful club members, we received 4 book suggestions of which we randomly chose 2 for the December list. (See the video of that random pick here.) Thank you, Yurena Bookish, Ester Elbert, Elke Richelsen, & Suzanne Bradley for all of their suggestions.

All 6 books in the list you’ll be voting on focus on icy, cold wintry scenes while 2 touch on a winter holiday.

Speaking of winter, I got into the spirit for this post over a few different nights while choosing winter drinks to serve at a party next month. I ultimately chose Burnt Sugar Hot Buttered Rum (yes, it is literally hot buttered rum with burnt sugar in all its caramel goodness) & a White Witch (a creamy white chocolate blend with chai, ginger, additional spices, & a splash of Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur). If you’re looking to up your cocktail game this winter, I highly recommend this cocktail recipe book. Some of the recipes are easy while others are intricate. All appear to be absolutely delicious!

Now onto the vote.
